During my stay, I enjoyed the spacious double room which comfortably accommodated all my belongings, and every morning started off right with a perfectly cooked breakfast that provided plenty of choice. being just a few steps from the North Water Viaduct and less than 2 km from the stunning St Cyrus National Nature Reserve made my weekend strolls delightful and filled with beautiful scenery.

The superb fish pie stole the show during my lunch with family at the Village Inn. Extremely well-made, full of prawns and seafood, a true delight! Busy atmosphere in the restaurant made it feel lively, and I found the comfort of the seating exceptional, perfect for a long meal. Staff were unbelievably attentive, always checking in and making sure we were happy. the breakfast situation could use some improvement. Missing menus at the breakfast bar led to confusion, making it awkward to know what options were available. I also experienced issues when ordering decaf coffee, as I wasn't informed it was available without asking. These little details would enhance the experience significantly. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would happily return for that incredible fish pie!

The bed was comfy, but the room felt cold for sleeping.

I loved the super helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate our requests, and the delicious great Scot pie was a standout dish that I can't stop thinking about! Enjoyed relaxing in the cozy garden area and had a fun evening with karaoke. The room was a bit warm at times, but it didn't take away from the fantastic experience overall. 😊

Easy to find with ample parking, this hotel offers a cozy stay with comfortable beds and well-cooked meals. The staff was particularly friendly and attentive, making the experience more enjoyable. the room could use some updates, and the shower was somewhat small, which might be inconvenient for taller guests. A chilly room upon arrival also required extra layers for comfort, although the bed helped warm things up nicely during the night.

The free breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal on our first night was a real treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful, despite our late arrival, making us feel right at home.

The bathroom could use some updates to enhance the overall experience.
